Thank you for your support of University of Illinois Extension camping opportunities at 4-H Memorial Camp. Camping is a valued part of the Illinois 4-H experience for thousands of youth every year.

To ensure that we keep our communities safe during the COVID-19 pandemic to help our families and businesses return to normal as soon as it is safe to do so, we have made the decision to cancel the Family Camp program scheduled for September 18-20, 2020. We delayed making this decision hoping that we would see improvements in the number of cases and an easing of necessary restrictions required by the State of Illinois as we know this would be a disappointment to many families. All families who have already made a reservation and paid their fee will be receving a full refund.

Know that our volunteers who work to make this weekend retreat happen are just as disappointed as you that we needed to cancel. We all look forward to these events as much as you do and hope to be able to offer the program again next year.

Please stay safe and join us in supporting the health and wellbeing of Illinois residents.
